My husband and I decided to get gifts for our entire bridal party. It’s definitely not necessary, but they did a lot to help us. We had a lot of DIY elements and decorated and cleaned up our venue on our own, so they really did a lot for us. We wanted to show our appreciation. Here’s a list of the gifts I bought my bridesmaids!
To be completely honest, the most difficult part of planning my wedding was picking out gifts for the important people involved. I really appreciated my bridal party and everyone who helped out so much and I really wanted to make sure they knew.
I put a lot of thought into the gifts, while also keeping to reasonable budget.
My bridesmaids were a lot easier to shop for than the groomsmen. They are all very similar to me so I knew they would like anything I picked out.
Bridesmaid Gifts
Personalized Necklace
I bought them a personalized necklace that they each wore for the wedding. It wasn’t very expensive and was very simple, but it was very classy and personalized. I thought they were very cute and would look great when they all wore them for the wedding. All five of the bridesmaids have continued to wear them on a day to day basis and have loved them.
Travel Jewelry Box
They also got a travel box for jewelry. It fit because I had bought them jewelry. It’s something that I would have liked to receive myself too. They all liked it and have all used it a couple times already.
I bought them on Amazon so they were not very expensive. They also come in a variety of colors. I got everyone white.
Candle
Each bridesmaid got a candle as well. I LOVE candles and all of my bridesmaids do too, so I couldn’t not get them one.
Bath Bomb
And to finish off the gift, they each got a bath bomb. I bought each girl a bath bomb from soap and glory. You could also buy a gift set of bath bombs and just break it down so each person gets one. That’s a more budget friendly option.
Other Bridesmaid Gift Ideas
Other ideas I had were a custom cup/tumbler. I actually made one for each girl and gave them away as party favors at my bachelorette party.
My bridal party didn’t have girls who were big drinkers, but you could also give them a bottle of champagne, even a mini one would be cute. This could easily be coupled with a cup or a tumbler.
Another idea is robes to wear when you get ready for the day. My friend did this and we each got a red one and she wore a white one. They made for very cute pictures. You can even get customized ones if you don’t have too much of a budget.
Each bridal party is going to be completely different. Hopefully there are at least one or two ideas you can take from this list for your own bridal party!
